Sanborn Central Horizons would like to thank Tony Armagno from Montrose for making the trip to Forestburg to talk to our group about the Hometown Competitiveness Conference he attended in Lincoln, Nebraska. Tony has some really good ideas for Montrose and will be a great mayor!

Going to a conference, being caught up in the excitement is one thing. Bringing the excitement and knowledge home to the people is extra ordinary. This is what Tony did for us. He explained the four pillars leadership, capital, entrepreneurship and youth. Leadership, people committed to creating a personalized community development strategy. Capital, each community must find and build and care for their capital. Entrepreneurship, communities have lots of budding businesses they just need fertilizing. We can find them and help them grow. Youth, we as the older generation need to instill pride and sense of community in the youth though example and inclusion. The assistance it out there but first we must make a statement of desire to do better and proof of will power to follow through. By completing the Horizons II project. Sanborn Central Communities is making a HUGH STATEMENT.
