Goal 3 of Sanborn Central Horizons’ Strategic Plan is to improve the quality of life for all citizens. Objective 1 states that the communities will support families and individuals in need. As an implementation step for this objective, the Good Stuff Committee was formed to help families and individuals who lose their homes to fires or other natural disasters or those who are experiencing medical crisis who need financial assistance.

Shown above are pictures from the Dave Schwemle benefit held in December. Dave was hospitalized as a result of complications from diabetes, had several months of therapy, and was unable to work. Proceeds from the benefit helped Dave with his medical expenses. Horizons II worked together with Thrivent Financial of Sanborn County to organize this benefit.
